It’s already beautiful when we see any rural area with picturesque view having cottages and narrow lanes. But if these have glinting roofs and white wind-turbines, it definitely is pride of village. Yes, solar and thermal system that provides heating to almost all homes of village, including adjacent villages, is wonderful idea.
Like Germany, the heating plant which is fuelled by a small solar park, can be established. This may be large renewable network. Villages should pioneer renewable energy movement, taking share in electricity consumption. It will also boost the local economy, creating jobs. Municipalities may use income from leasing community land to wind turbines to build a tourist attraction by creating beautiful bridges. The Govt. may also try to plan a coal and nuclear phase-out and raise targets for sourcing power from renewables. Further turbines, which may create noisy situations, should be considered in mind or may be replaced by some less or no-noisy machines. But, ultimately the Idea is BINGO!!! We should go for it.
